The Bahrain Boat Show launches world-class new smartphone technology to put their event in the palms of the hands of more than 15,000 marine enthusiasts.

“The event and exhibition industry is always looking for innovative and smart technology to aid in the distribution of information to visitors as well as finding new ways to engage with and capture target audiences. We are very happy to be able to introduce ShowGizmo to our visitors, showcasing this exciting new product as well as communicating the technological progress of the BBSI 2011” explained CEO and organiser of the Bahrain Boat Show International, Wael Juju.

Bahrain Boat Show is a firmly established leisure marine and lifestyle event featuring carefully selected exhibitors from across the globe, showcasing super yachts and boats by the most renowned shipyards. Visitors comprise of some of the regions highest net worth individuals, decision makers, top management and royalty.

When people purchase tickets for the Show, they will receive free access to the app which can be downloaded to their iphone, BlackBerry or Android smartphone. Their details are kept private, and only exchanged when they “bump” with the people they are talking to, or scan the available QR code.

ShowGizmo will provide a history of contacts from the event for visitors and a follow up base for exhibitors.  Shipyards and suppliers can load up direct access to their website and product brochures.  And visitors will be alerted to promotions and displays – so no one will miss the flying jet pack demonstration!!
